Friends of the Rosary,
Today, in the Gospel of Luke (8:4-15), Jesus tells the parable of the sower. The seed is the Word of God. But since not every soul receives it the same way, the fruit depends on the soil of the heart.
Some hearts are hard, some are shallow, some are crowded by worries and pleasures, and some are open, patient, and faithful.
God is always sowing His word into our lives, but Faith grows when we listen, remove distractions, and persevere (even when growth feels slow)
In 1 Corinthians 15:35-37, 42-49, Paul explains resurrection using the image of a seed. A seed is placed in the ground, and, in a sense, it “dies”; God can transform what looks small, buried, or broken into new life.
He is saying that our earthly life is fragile, limited, and marked by weakness, but that God can raise it to glory. What feels buried, hidden, or wasted in our life can still become something new in God’s hands.
