Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms at The Rosary Network!

This feast has been a national holiday in the U.S. on the second Sunday of May since 1914. However, honoring mothers is a Catholic tradition.

We rejoice in having Mary, the Mother of God and our spiritual mother, in the month of Mary.

The Creator of the Universe chose to put himself into the hands of a human mother. Since then, every act of mothering brings of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Today, as we congratulate our earthly mothers for the role they play in our lives, let’s honor as well our heavenly mother and Queen of the Universe, as we learn in the fifth Glorious Mystery that we pray today.
